Marty, who is a board member of the institute, presented "How Exclusive is "Exclusive"? The Litigator’s Perspective". He explored the unique problems and pitfalls of drafting “exclusive” clauses and delve into the ramifications of the words chosen during drafting and the possible litigation consequences when a breach occurs and a court is required to interpret the lease.
