Legal actions by disabled persons (and applicable governmental agencies) based on the ADA of 1990 (as amended) against shopping centers, as well as other commercial real property owners, retail tenants, financial institutions and entertainment venues that claim an denial for equal access to property, services, the web, and ancillary facilities are still going strong. Four attorneys, experienced in this area, will discuss the current status of the law and will provide some practical information to assist the property/business owner in avoiding unnecessary litigation.
